There will be a late fee charged for any forms received on or after May 21st.

Winchester's 29th annual Town Day in 2010 will have many special events in addition to the traditional activities that have always made Town Day such a success. Several Winchester Center streets will be closed to traffic to accommodate the many displays and activities and the thousands of people who will attend and participate.

Important Exhibitor Information:
  1. You MUST pick up your permit BEFORE YOU SET UP.
    Pick up your permit at the Town Day Booth or at the drive-through registration at the rotary.
    Look for the signs! Permits not issued by 10:00 AM may be forfeited.
  2. Vehicles are not allowed in the exhibit areas after 9:00 AM unless they fit within your booth area.
  3. In case of inclement weather, call 781-729-8870 after 7:30 AM to confirm postponement to June 6th.
  4. Any balance due must be paid before issuance of a permit.
  5. If you are a food vendor, you must have obtained a permit from the Winchester Board of Health. (781-721-7121)
  6. Any vendor using propane must obtain a permit from the Winchester Fire Department (781-729-1800)
  7. Make sure you have read and are familiar with the rules and regulations in the Exhibitor Brochure

What should I know?

New for 2010! :
You can pay your booth and option fees with a major credit card, if you like
You can promote your Town Day activities with an ad in our new Town Day Program, which we plan to distribute for free at least a week before Town Day.

Chamber of Commerce Discount:
If you are a current member of the
Winchester Chamber of Commerce, you may take a 10% discount off your fee.

Late Registration Penalty:
Registrations received after May 21, 2010 must contain payment for the $75 late registration fee to be accepted. No refunds of exhibitor fees will be made after May 21, 2010.

Rain Date:
Sunday, June 7, 2009. If weather is questionable, call 781-729-8870 after 7:00 am on Town Day. The decision of the Winchester Town Day Committee to hold or cancel Town Day is final. Refund or fees will only be made if the event is canceled on both June 5th and 6th.

Restricted Sales:
Articles detrimental to public health or safety, or to the appearance of the Center, such as caps, or "silly string" may not be sold or dispensed. Violators will have their Town Day permit revoked.

Hours:
Set-up starts at 8:00 am. Vehicles will not be allowed in the booth areas after 9:00 am. Clean-up is from 4:00-5:00 pm. Streets re-open at 5:00 pm. Evening hours are from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. You will need an additional permit for booth space during the concert and fireworks.

Booth Space:
Approximately 10' x 10'. Utilities are not provided. Carts and activities must operate within the assigned booth area or additional fees will be required. 10' x 10' canopies are available for a rental charge of $75 before or $85 on Town Day. The fee includes setup and removal. Availability of canopies without advance reservation is not guaranteed. 8-foot table rentals are available for $15 each, also delivered to your booth space.

Confirmation:
Postcards confirming your registration are generally sent out approximately one week before Town Day. Vendor listings will be posted and updated on this web site. Please bring your postcard with you to facilitate our express check-in on Town Day.

*Winchester residency is established by a listing in Book of Residents or business certificate, with a Winchester address, on file with the Town Clerk.
**Food vendors must obtain Winchester Board of Health (781-721-7121) permit and display it on Town Day.
Canopies:
$75 with application ($85 on Town Day, if available) 10'x10' delivered and set up at your booth
Tables:
$15 with application ($20 on Town Day, if available) 8' banquet tables delivered to your booth
Program Advertising:
$50 - 1/4 page ad (2 3/4"W X 4 1/4"H)
$75 - 1/2 page ad (5 1/2"W X 4 1/4"H)
$150 - Full page ad (5 1/2"W X 8 1/2"H)
** Camera-ready copy due by 5/21/10 in order to be included in the program
Late Fee:
A late fee of $75 must accompany all applications received after May 21st, 2010. No refunds of exhibitor fees will be made after May 21, 2010.
